# Intro

Skeeper provides smart contract automation infrastructure for Soroban ecosystem. It offers an opportunity to automate smart contract function executions. This can be done either by setting up a **Time-based** job or **API-based** job. \

The several use-cases for Skeeper are the following:

* Automated yield harvesting;
* Liquidations protection;
* Portfolio rebalancing;
